WEST BOYLSTON Nancy A. (Tinsley) Reilly, 58, of West Boylston, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Rose Monahan Hospice, Worcester, surrounded by family and friends.
She leaves her husband of 39 years, Robert M. “Bo” Reilly; a son, A.J. Reilly and his wife Erica of Plympton, two daughters, Erin Reilly and her husband Scott Smilie of Worcester and Katie Reilly of Sterling; three grandchildren, Julia and Lauren Reilly, and Devin Smilie; a brother, E. Paul Tinsley of West Boylston, a sister, Andrea M. Carlson and her husband Jeffrey H. Carlson of Worcester, a dear close friend, Debbie Shannon of Worcester; nieces and nephews.
Nancy was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Worcester Police Capt. James F. Tinsley and Mary R. (O’Brien) Tinsley. She moved to West Boylston five years ago. She was a graduate of Burncoat High School.
Nancy worked for the Worcester Public Schools for more than 20 years. She was the head clerk in the principal’s office at South High School for many years before recently retiring.
She loved visiting the beaches of Cape Cod and was actively involved for many years in the Washington Club on Lake Quinsigamond.
Nancy was devoted to her husband and children and especially enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday, December 1 from the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston. Her uncle Msgr. Edmond T
